The Seven Principles Workshop for Couples is an engaging LIVE virtual event designed for couples at any age. This research-based program is based on Dr. John Gottman’s bestselling book, The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work. Couples gain insight through lectures, videos, and practicing exercises privately.
This workshop will be offered in two formats—a weekend intensive and a 5-week series. The cost for couples is $450.
The weekend intensive is scheduled for June 27th (6-9pm) and 28th (9am-4pm)
Our weekly series of 5 sessions is scheduled for Wednesdays, July 9th-August 6th, 2025

Interactive exercises completed by couples in the privacy of your own space. Group members are encouraged to mute their microphones and practice skills during sessions.
Expert training based on decades of research and a supportive environment to grow in your relationship. This workshop offers 10 hours of training broken into lectures, engaging demonstrations, and private exercises. Jen Hoffman is a licensed counselor with a background in Marriage and Family Therapy. Jen is a Level One Gottman therapist and a trained workshop leader.

1. Is this workshop like therapy?
No, this is an educational workshop, not couples therapy. You’ll gain research-based tools to strengthen your relationship, but we won’t be diving into personal counseling or discussing private issues in a group setting.
2. Do we have to share personal details?
No! While there are interactive exercises, you’ll only share with your partner—not in front of the group.
3. Who is this workshop for?
This is designed for engaged, newlywed, and long-term couples who want to build a strong relationship. It’s not for couples in severe distress, active infidelity, or abusive situations.
4. Do we have to be married to attend?
Not at all! This workshop is for anyone in a committed relationship who wants to grow stronger together.
5. What if my partner is hesitant?
That’s okay! Many partners start out unsure but find the workshop fun, engaging, and surprisingly helpful. It’s a relaxed, no-pressure environment focused on connection.
6. Who should not attend this wokrshop?
